Chirpie vs Blotato

Blotato is an AI content generation product with distribution attached — writing, images, video, voiceovers. Chirpie is a publishing API. These solve genuinely different problems.

50 free posts a month. No credit card required.

Blotato generates content and then posts it: AI writing, AI image generation, AI video generation, ElevenLabs voiceovers, a database of viral posts, and Instagram and Facebook DM automation, across 9 platforms with a 35-tool hosted MCP server. Its credits are spent on AI media generation, never on publishing. Chirpie does not generate anything — it takes text and media you already have and publishes it reliably. If you want an agent that writes the video too, Blotato is the better fit and we will say so.

Blotato is cheaper here — its entry plan already covers 20 accounts.
  • Blotato tiers: Starter $29/mo (20 social accounts, 1,250 AI credits), Creator $97/mo (40 accounts, 5,000 credits), Agency $499/mo (28,000 credits; account count not published).
  • Blotato's credits are spent on AI media generation, never on publishing, scheduling, or API calls — so publishing is effectively unmetered. The two products meter completely different things, and a straight price comparison flatters whichever one you happen to use less of.
  • Blotato applies per-platform posting caps that are stricter than the platforms' own limits. Check those against your volume before switching.

When Blotato is the better choice

We would rather you pick the right tool than churn in a month.

  • You want the content generated as well as published. AI writing, image generation, video generation and ElevenLabs voiceovers are Blotato's actual product, and Chirpie has none of it.
  • You need Instagram or Facebook DM automation with active-contact tiering.
  • You are connecting many accounts. Blotato's $29 entry plan covers 20 social accounts, which is more than Chirpie's $49 Pro plan.
  • You want a database of viral posts and content-source extraction to work from, rather than writing every post yourself.
  • You are a solo creator or small team who would rather buy one tool that does ideation, generation and distribution than assemble a stack.

Common questions

Is Blotato a competitor to Chirpie?

Only partially. Blotato is primarily an AI content generation product — writing, images, video, voiceovers — with distribution attached. Chirpie is a publishing API with no generation features at all. They overlap on posting and scheduling and diverge everywhere else. If your bottleneck is making content, Blotato addresses it and Chirpie does not.

Is Chirpie cheaper than Blotato?

At low account counts, yes: Chirpie is free for 50 posts a month, and Blotato has no free plan with API or MCP access — the trial explicitly excludes both, so the cheapest developer access is $29/month. At higher account counts Blotato is cheaper, because its $29 plan already covers 20 social accounts against Chirpie's 10 at $49.

Does Blotato have an MCP server?

Yes — a hosted MCP endpoint with 35 tools covering posting, scheduling, content extraction, image, carousel and video generation, analytics, and Instagram and Facebook comments and DMs. It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others. It requires a paid plan.

Does Blotato support analytics on every platform?

Eight of its nine. Their own documentation notes that LinkedIn returns no metrics yet, so LinkedIn analytics are unavailable. Comments and DMs are narrower still — Instagram and Facebook only.

Can I use both?

Reasonably, yes. Some teams generate with one tool and publish through another, particularly if they need platforms one of them does not cover. Nothing in either product prevents it.
